We are happy, to proudly announce our investment in MIR Insight. The startup is a pioneer in energy efficient AI-based forecasting for the process industries, with a focus on textiles, fibers, and plastics.
When considering the entire supply chain, the textile industry alone accounts for up to 8% of global CO₂ emissions, a significant portion of which stems from overproduction. Efficient demand planning thus holds immense potential for climate action. With MIR Insight’s AI-powered forecasting software, clients can significantly reduce overproduction, cutting costs, saving resources, and making a meaningful contribution to global climate protection.
As part of a €600k funding round, Vanagon Ventures is leading the investment alongside EWOR, Floris Capital, and seasoned industry business angels.

Nuno Barros: A multi-award-winning programmer and entrepreneur, Nuno has founded several startups and holds two master’s degrees in Technology & Digital Arts and Computer Science. Named “Programmer of the Year 2022” in Portugal, he emphasizes creating user-friendly solutions with real-world impact.
